Most pianos can be repaired, most parts are available, and few pianos are really worthless, HOWEVER, some repairs are so major that the cost may out-value the worth of the piano. That being said, if the piano has sentimental value or inherent worth, no repair is excessive. But some pianos may not be improved enough by a given repair to warrant the cost.

Noble Piano Services can do most repairs and adjustments at a very reasonable cost. We do not accept major rebuilding as there are those in that part of the business that specialize in that field, and have shops and equipment to do that. We do not have such facilities, and therefore, do not accept most rebuilding work.

REPAIRS

Many repairs can be done when we come for a tuning, and usually at a very minimal cost, so please ask, we will be forthright and tell you up front what it will cost.
We do most repairs, including: sticky keys, action repairs, soundboard repairs when feasible and economically sound, keytop replacement, string replacement, and more.
We also can repair most pump organs.
Unfortunately, ivory keytops are no longer available. The industry as been only able to get used ivory since the ban on ivory imports many years ago (which we sincerely support) and now even used ones are scarce and, for the most part, unavailable from suppliers. If you have an ivory key that needs replacement, be aware that dwindling supplies may make that impossible. Plastic replacement may be the only alternative.
Estimates are free, unless we must charge a service fee for the distance travelled. Please ask for pricing, but be aware, we must personally inspect the repair need before we quote a firm price
